*B Redwood Hills Odonata Grandis
Odon, as he is known on the farm, joins us from the Redwood Hills herd in California. He was a welcomed addition to the herd, bringing in a strong pedigree of animals including his dam SGCH Redwood Hills True Gabrielle 1*M who appraised 92 EEEE (02-09) and paternal granddam SGCH My-Enchanted-Acres EXC Ladybug 8*M has a final appraisal score of 91 VEEE. True Gabrielle also was 1st/1st udder as a yearling at 2017 Washington State Fair and the 2018 ADGA National Show 9th place 2 year old. As a yearling milker, she also had an extended lactation of 2634 pounds at 363 days. Odon’s full sister Redwood Hills Dragonfly Gabby was the 4th place junior yearling at the 2019 National Show. She freshened with a gorgeous mammary system that we are hoping she will share with her nieces.
We have several young does in our herd and are really impressed with Odon’s offspring. They all have gorgeous toplines, lots of length, and style. In addition to the length we see, there is also a lot of depth of body. In 2021, we showed his two yearling daughters in our herd and they earned their dry legs at the first and second shows of the season.
