We could not be happier with Cal, or *B King’s Rock Call InThe Cavalry. Looking back, it more or less took a small army to have Cal here in our herd. Between his conception to his birth, we have had a lot of help to get him here and needed the full cavalry. When we bred Rosie and Java Chip to Countof Monte Cristo in 2019, we had high hopes to retain a buck kid from one of the two as a new herdsire for our herd. +*B SGCH Engylskye Countof Monte Cristo is the sire to the 2015 ADGA National Show Res. Jr. Champion and many other exciting animals throughout the country.

Adding Monte Cristo offspring into our herd has crossed really well for us. In 2022, Cal earned his first leg towards his championship at the Altamont Buck Show. His littermate sister GCH (pending) King’s Rock TiedUpWith Strings 4*M earned her permanent championship with legs won at the 2019 Progressive Dairy Goat Club’s Champagne Classic and also was Grand Champion and Best of Breed twice at the 2022 Dutchess County Fair. Their paternal half-sister King’s Rock OG Countessa Isabella was Grand Champion and Best Junior Doe In Show at the 2022 Dutchess County Fair as well. Cal throws very consistent kids that are growthy and wide. He has been stingy with the daughters here at the farm but both daughters and sons have been doing well in other herds. We are looking forward to adding a daughter or two from Cal to our herd in 2023.
