GCH (pending) King’s Rock Exception2TheRule 2*M received her name as a joke right when she was born. I had said I was only going to keep black does in 2018 and well from the moment she was born, I knew that she was not going anywhere! But of course, our barn name does not quite match her papers, so Exception2TheRule is affectionally called Bunny here. Bunny is a true powerhouse of a doe; she is long, has a wonderful bone pattern, has gorgeous dairy strength, and is just a well-put-together doe. As a dry yearling, she was Reserve Grand Champion twice. After 2020 was spent at home, Bunny returned to the ring in 2021 as a second freshening three-year-old, and at her first show out as a milker, she went Reserve Grand Champion. Then she picked up a leg at the New Jersey State Fair, and her second and third leg went to be Grand Champion at the 2021 Dutchess County Fair. She also had a lactation of 2660 pounds in 323 days in milk with 162 pounds of butterfat and 101 pounds of protein. In 2022, she took a year off, and I CANNOT wait for her to freshen again in 2023! This is a doe who needs to be out in the ring again, on milk test, have another appraisal and also a few daughters in my barn. Bunny appraised 90 in 2023, and then went on to appraise 91 VEEE in 2024 as a 6-year -old doe.
