Amata was our up-and-coming first freshener in 2016, easily earning her place on our show string right after she freshened.  She came into a beautiful, capacious mammary system even with only had a single kid. At her peak, she was milking over a gallon a day while still maintaining her body condition. She was 15th place 2 year-old at the 2016 ADGA Nationals in one of their largest classes of the show and appraised 87 VVVV, earning Excellent in the feet category and Very Good in the majority of the other categories.

2017 was a big year for Amata.  She is produced 3420 pounds of milk earning her spot on the Top 10 List in all three categories- milk production, butterfat and protein.  She peaked at 17 pounds and has had a steady lactation all summer.  With her high production, she was not brought out to many shows but still managed to pick up a Reserve Grand Champion win at the 2017 Dutchess County Fair.

Amata earned her SG designation in 2018 after her top 10 lactation of 2017 and scoring 90 EVEV at her 2018 Linear Appraisal. While not quite producing as much as she did in 2017, she still produced 2,640 pounds during her 2018 lactation.

In 2019, we took Amata to the NYSDGBA Spring Show, where she was Grand Champion 3x and Best of Breed 2x, earning her permanent championship at the show. She stands on great feet and her udder is tightly snug to her body and has great height to her rear udder arch.  She also has a beautiful medial suspensory ligament. I just love the style of this doe and the way she looks on the move.  She developed the desired wedge shape to her body, showcasing her body capacity at a young age.  A truly all-around great doe, I think the best is yet to come with Amata!
